My Current Fashion Obsessions
I don’t really “need” anything. But I do love a well-curated desire.
My wish list at the moment feels less impulsive and more considered – pieces that would genuinely earn their place in my wardrobe. I’ve been leaning into tailoring again (as if I ever stopped), and there’s something about a beautiful blazer that makes everything else fall into place. A cashmere one from Saint Laurent has been on my mind – the sort of piece that instantly sharpens denim and softens silk. It’s polished without trying too hard, which is exactly how I like my classics.
That said, I clearly have a thing for bold outer layers this season, because a long leather blazer from Khaite has also found its way onto my list. It’s strong, slightly dramatic, and the kind of piece that does most of the talking for you.
I’ve surprised myself with a red skirt that I cannot stop thinking about. I tend to live in neutrals, but every now and then I crave one unapologetic colour moment. It feels confident. A little unexpected. Very now.
Shoes, as always, are my weakness. There are a few pairs from Saint Laurent waiting patiently in my mental shopping basket – their footwear just works with everything I own. I’ve also been eyeing the most elegant sandals from Gianvito Rossi, which feel like a promise to myself that warmer days are coming. If I buy the sandals, surely the sunshine will follow.
I’ve added a bucket hat from Max Mara too – something about it feels like spring in the city and summer by the sea all at once. Effortless, slightly undone, but still intentional.
And then there’s Bottega Veneta. I’ve realised I’m slowly building quite a collection of their pieces. Their jackets, in particular, feel wonderfully timeless – structured yet soft, modern yet enduring. The new collection is dangerously good.
So that’s where my head (and heart) is at the moment. A balance of tailoring, texture, and a few playful statements. I’ll leave the full edit below for you to browse – and now the only question is which piece I’ll give in to first.
