Milan Fashion Week AW26 Outfits

Notes from Milan ...

Milan Fashion Week feels different for me because it starts in my own space.

No living out of suitcases, no temporary wardrobes. Just my flat, my rails, my routine. The team gathers in the morning, we sit down for a quick meeting, align on fittings, scheduling, content plans and time management – and then we move.

It’s still Fashion Week. It’s still intense. But starting from home makes it feel more controlled, more intentional. I’m calmer here. Sharper.

Day One - Fittings & An Armani Evening

Day one was all about fittings. And when I say fittings, I mean a lot of them. We started early, pulling looks for the shows ahead, adjusting silhouettes, rethinking proportions, testing shoes, layering outerwear. Milan demands precision, and I actually love that part of the process — refining, editing, perfecting.

At some point we paused for a team break – coffee, matcha, a quick reset. We tried to talk about normal life for a moment, but on days like this every conversation somehow ends up back at Fashion Week. Call us workaholics if you like… but this is what we love.

The afternoon continued with a few more evening fittings before it was time to get ready. That night, Filippo and I were heading to the Armani x Alanui event.

I absolutely loved the cardigan I wore. In fact, Filippo and I ended up in almost identical pieces – same tone, same texture, same relaxed cut. It felt effortless and very us. Soft, luxurious knitwear with just enough structure to make it evening-appropriate.

And that was day one in Milan.

From tomorrow, the shows officially begin.

Day Two

Day two began the way Milan mornings often do during Fashion Week – the team gathered, the hair stylist arrived, and within minutes we were already in preparation mode. Hair, make-up, final checks… and then straight into getting dressed for Fendi.

I was especially excited about this show. It marked the debut collection of Maria Grazia Chiuri for Fendi, and I was genuinely curious to see how her vision would translate within the house. That anticipation made it the first real mission of the day.

The collection did not disappoint. I truly enjoyed it. A strong presence of black, beautiful structured pieces, flashes of red, sheer fabrics, fur – everything felt confident and full of character. There was something very intentional about it. Feminine, but assertive. Refined, yet bold. I left feeling inspired.

After the show, I went back to the flat for a short reset – a quick change, a breath, and then it was time to get ready again.

One of my favourite parts of Fashion Week is when friends are in town. Before the Prada event, Xenia came over, and we headed there together – which instantly made the evening even more fun.

After the event, the night shifted into something softer and more personal: dinner, long conversations, and that rare Fashion Week moment when you stop rushing and simply enjoy being surrounded by people you care about.

Day Four

Day four was long. Properly long. The kind of Fashion Week day where you look at the schedule in the morning and already know it’s going to move fast.

First up: Gucci. Before the show, we had a little adventure creating content for you. We jumped on a Milan tram, shot photos, filmed TikToks, laughed between takes – those spontaneous moments often end up being my favourites. Then it was a quick dash to the venue. The show itself was spectacular. From the venue to the casting to the collection – everything felt elevated. Beautiful pieces, strong silhouettes, that unmistakable Gucci attitude. And the cherry on top? Kate Moss closing the show. Truly iconic.

Then came the very glamorous reality of Fashion Week: changing outfits in the car. Because is it even Fashion Week if you don’t get dressed in the back seat at least once a day?

Next stop was the Jimmy Choo presentation. It’s always such a pleasure – great company and beautifully curated collections. I genuinely enjoy seeing what they prepare each season.

After that, lunch with friends, a quick trip home for a hair and make-up retouch, and then straight out again for GCDS. The show was pure energy. So authentic, full of colour, playful prints, bold attitude. It felt joyful and unapologetic – exactly the kind of contrast you need in the middle of a packed schedule.

And no, that wasn’t the final stop. I told you it would be dynamic. I ran home once more to change and then headed out to enjoy the Gucci after-party with friends. A late finish, lots of laughter, and that particular Fashion Week feeling – exhausted, but completely energised at the same time.

Day Five - A Grand Finale

We made it to the final day.

Two shows were waiting for me: Ferragamo and Dolce & Gabbana.

First on the schedule was Ferragamo. My look for this one was incredibly comfortable – and, importantly, warm enough. We shot content beforehand and arrived more than on time, which during Fashion Week already feels like a small victory. The collection was beautiful. Both the menswear and womenswear felt strong and refined. Emphasised shoulders, a palette built around beige, white, black and navy – very controlled, very sophisticated. Yet the tailoring, the fabric choices and the cuts made everything feel striking and modern. I particularly loved the tailored pieces for women. Powerful, clean, wearable.

But what is Fashion Week without a little drama?

Right after the show we literally had to run to the car. I changed outfits while we were driving – again – and rushed straight to Dolce to make it on time.

My Dolce look was full of character. Leopard elements, stripes, lace details – playful and bold. I don’t often wear something quite that expressive, and this felt like the perfect moment to lean into it. The runway, on the other hand, was more controlled and elegant: predominantly black, sheer fabrics, oversized silhouettes, a touch of fur, a little sparkle. It was strong and seductive in that very Dolce way.

Because we hadn’t managed to shoot content before the show, we grabbed pizza afterwards – we were starving – and used our very last creative energy to capture a few final shots.

And then, finally, we officially declared Milan Fashion Week over for me and my team.

I don’t need to tell you what happened next. We all went home, and I fully embraced a comfortable outfit – and, for once, no heels.

This Milan Fashion Week felt incredibly successful for me. I’m genuinely proud of the work we’ve done and so grateful for the shows, the collections and the moments in between.

I hope you enjoyed experiencing it with me.

And in just a few days, we continue – from Paris.
